How it Started

Wonder started with a simple frustration. Too many toys. Not enough wonder. We were parents and educators surrounded by cheap plastic that broke fast, got ignored faster, and did nothing to help kids actually learn or grow.

So we built something better. Something beautiful, open-ended, and worthy of a permanent spot in a real home. That frustration became an obsession. That obsession became Wonder.

We kept looking for a toy that was beautiful enough to leave out, durable enough to last, and engaging enough that kids came back to it on their own. We could not find it.

So a team of parents, teachers, and designers got together and built it from scratch. Wonder is the result of that search and the belief that play is the real work of childhood.
