A Little Science Behind the Wonder

Take the letter A and its apple. When a child sees the bright red shape, says "apple," traces the letter's peak and legs with their finger, and hears the /a/ sound all at once, something important happens: three separate learning pathways, visual, tactile, and phonetic, fire together.
